When it comes to eating healthy, you have to try not to fall victim to modern day fad diets. Extreme diets undoubtedly are a risk for your health, especially ones that seriously restrict your every day nutritional intake. While they might induce rapid loss of weight, these kinds of diets will never be a long-term solution for your weight problem. You should look up Proladox Diet Plan on the internet as it is not just another fad diet where you starve yourself.

  4. Dylan Woolley says:

Applying these methods accomplishes one goal, more energy use, but a lower force on the muscles. This stimulates an increase in amount of mitochondria and an increase in sarcoplasmic reticulum (SR) volume (which therefore takes up more muscle volume). When training strength, the force is higher on the muscles, thus the muscle responds by creating more actin & myosin, which increases maximum muscle force and increases volume, albeit not as much as mitochondria and SR as above.

  22. Clarince dde says:

Ego has an important role in the gym, muscles grow when you think it should grow during workout. Ego also pushes the body in extreme length to further stimulate, rather your body refuse to shout “enought”

  23. jan lep says:

Well said!! See waaaayy too many people egobuilding at the gym

  24. Candy B says:

Women should add weights to their workouts especially as we get older, due to muscle loss.
I use 3,5, and 8 lb every other day , along with two soy protein shakes a day.
I am not bulky at all, but instead i maintain lean and toned muscles.

  25. klreed18 says:

With free stance squats, the weights add resistance, which aids in toning. You want to give your body some stress as they said in the video. When you add heavier weights that will increase your muscle mass, but it will more so be seen as toning because your legs thighs will possess more muscle. Lean muscle isn’t bad. Use whatever weight you feel comfortable, but know that weight training not only helps tone a certain area, but burns more calories than cardio alone. Result = toned look.

  26. jade9154 says:

Thanks. So that means if I use lighter weights (5, 8, 10 and 15 lbs) for squats, let’s say, it won’t make my thighs thicker?

  27. klreed18 says:

Ladies, if you desire to create “bulk” train like you want “bulk.” If not, train the way you want to look. No one can tell you that you look bulky. If you don’t feel you do, then it shouldn’t matter. These guys gave their personal opinions, but they also told you that if you train to bulk, you will bulk. Guys don’t blow up overnight. It takes time to put on MUSCLE MASS. Research it yourself or find a trustworthy personal trainer. Remember calorie intake vs calories burned plays A LARGER ROLE.

  28. klreed18 says:

Lifting with lighter weights and with more repetitions is for toning. Women are able to bulk, in addition to high protein intake and other things. Women can build muscle and maintain a feminine physique without risking the chances of “bulking.” If you see yourself bulking, decrease your weights. The amount of weight determines the look of your body.

  29. klreed18 says:

I’m sure that’s why they said, if they are training for a specific purpose of MUSCLE MASS BUILDING. In general, a woman’s body is built with curves. MOST women don’t want the “bulky” or “overly muscular” body, that is why they are worried about becoming “bulky” with weight training. I workout 6 days a week and am never afraid of putting on “bulkiness” because I don’t go in to reach a MAX in my weights. I weight train for toning. To each its own. Workout how YOU want YOUR body to be!

  30. Emilly Rosario says:

it takes a lot of weights and protein to make a woman bulky, even men has to work very hard to bulk up

  31. fittfour says:

the only way for female to get “big, bulky, manly” type figure is with steroids. Exercising with weights will add muscle, but NOT like that. Of course unless she has a high testosterone level.

  32. jade9154 says:

Unfortunately, this was not helpful… Does using light weights for exercising prevent bulkiness or are women NOT able to get bulky, period?

  33. moodylupin says:

I agree, the conversation took a very distasteful turn. The direct association of muscle with “manliness” is not only disrespectful but incorrect.

  34. Léo Winck says:

    gostosas….

  35. koolbossjock says:

NO…You will not look like a frog upside down. That is unless you want to.Then You will have to be taking things like PED to get there.Women are NOT put together like men inside. I think they all look great regardless. A lot of work and dedication go’s into this. That sez something about the person.

  36. carrlichaotic says:

Gosh, to get as bulky as they’re talking you have to train so hard and eat so many cals/protein.

  37. Sarah Parker says:

“Bulking” and gaining lots of mass takes purposeful training and diet for that to happen. If women train with weights, HIIT cardio, steady state cardio, plyometrics, bodyweight, and lots of variety, AND pay attention to a GOOD diet, getting “overly muscular” won’t happen. Nutrition is important.

Ultimately: people who gain lots of mass eat and train for mass

  38. c0c0puffz says:

Unless you are already athletic built, you can get bigger.

  39. lacurandera231 says:

I squat 155 lbs and leg press 340. SOOOO bulky. Not.

  40. MsAKApolly says:

i agree thought it was kind of weird how they went about it…i mean i worry abt that all the time, its not my preference either, but they did say it was just their preference, i wish they would assure girls more and say everyone is beautiful regardless, but like you said they were probably just trying to assure girls not to worry but i believe all girls are beautiful and im sure they do too

  41. eamon banton says:

i fuckin love madelaines hair and legs , cox out

  42. Pure2RawTwins says:

every girl is beautiful in their own way. we love to lift weights and challenge our body by using them!

  43. trackgrad08 says:

The only way you’d get “manly” is if you have too much testerone your body i.e. Steroids. Other than that, a woman will only get as bulky as the small amount of testerone will allow. I ran track for years and in college I was my leanest/bulkest. I weighed 138 at about 14% body fat from the extensive running and weight training. I was just right–didnt look like LL Cool J or The Rock or nobody.

  44. BaganBula says:

word sister! every woman is beautiful.

  45. FatGirlDiaries says:

I hate how they’re calling a woman with a lot of muscle mass as “too much” or “overly muscular” or “bulky”. I get that the purpose of the video is to assure women who are afraid of weight training that they won’t get “bulky” by accident, but if anything it feels more like body shaming women who work their asses off to build the muscle that they want, or as they call it “overly muscular”.
